Be sure to go and leave a comment at NCO Financial Systems at CallFerret Phone Number Lookup so that all of the new NCO phone numbers are available to people as soon as possible.
In case you are getting calls from the wonderful people at NCO Financial Systems. You should read some messages people have posted about this company. Apart from having to pay $1.5 million to settle Federal Trade Commission charges that it violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), there are also many many claims of state and federal violations of legislation like the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
The company purchases old debt from people like your cellphone provider, hospitals and the government for pennies on the dollar and then tries to collect it. You may have even already paid the bill, like I had, but that is really a minor irrelevant point. The reality is, much if not most of this debt is so old noone has any obligation to repay any of it, least of all not to NCO. Many people have been harassed for debt belonging to neighbors, relatives, old residents of the same address, and co-workers. Don’t pay NCO a penny.
If you receive letters or phone calls from NCO or phone numbers like
800-709-8625 or 888-804-3488 or 877-803-8009 or 800-541-2742 or 888-688-7929 or 800-445-4918 or 866-569-8956 or 800-218-1175 or 800-448-9576 or 800-684-8429 or 866-429-3592 or 800-976-8307 or 877-871-6484 or 800-735-6588 or 800-220-1942 or 877-778-1799 or 800-227-4000 or 800-807-7809 or 866-626-9112 or 866-425-8131 or 800-967-4100 or 877-252-4534 or 877-202-9074 or 888-691-8955 or 888-259-3021 or 800-437-7403 or
800-383-4761 or 866-360-9791 you should read this page about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If NCO does anything wrong with you, you could be entitled to $1000 per infraction and they may have to pay your lawyer and possibly even your debt.
To halt their “contact”, send NCO a certified, return-receipt cease and desist letter (they throw away all faxes and non-certified letters). A sample letter might read (though, you must seek real legal advice, which I’m not):
This is to advise you that pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (“FDCPA”) 15 USC 1692c(c), you are hereby notified to immediately terminate any contact with me, or any members of my family or household, regarding any matter concerning the collection of a debt you allege is owed to your company or to your principal/customer/client. This notice shall include, but is not limited to written correspondence, as well as telephonic communication. This letter also verifies that I live at the address above, therefore, any further locator attempts would be a violation of the FDCPA.
Their address is:

Is NCO calling you? Do you have a new NCO phone number or information? Please leave a comment and share it with the rest of us. Thanks!
NCO may or may not report your debt dispute with them on your credit report. It is important to make sure that if NCO puts anything on your credit report, all of the information is accurate, such as date of debt, last activity on account and the correct amount. That information is not always placed on all three major reports and your valid creditors usually only check one of these sources, so make sure you check all three (TransUnion, Equifax and Experian) for correct information. You should also check your credit score at these agencies to see the impact of your debt history on your credit-worthiness. Click to obtain a copy of your 3-in-1 Credit Report.
If NCO does not leave you alone, Lexington Law is an affordable legal tool to get them to stop calling and writing you. They are also very effective at deleting the negative information off of your credit reports.
Oh, and Miss Hill, thanks for calling ;)
Important! File a complaint with the Pennsylvania Attorney General – easy online form (NCO is a PA company and PA is investigating NCO)
P.S. The Pennsylvania Attorney General recently finished a big case against them, though the complaints continue.

i received a call from NCO today. it was really suspicious, so i even started recording the caller. i searched for NCO on the internet and found report after report confirming that it’s a scam. luckily, now i have a recording to identify the caller.

These people call me about every two weeks also , I finally got to talk to somebody fo a second when I would,nt give them my SS# she hung up on me, never knew who they was, but I did report them to my local Shreiff fraud alert,And Florida Consumer Alert.
Received phone call from 800-303-1043 wanting some lady I had never heard of. After stopping the lady from taking I told her I had this phone number for over 10 years. And try another number.
New phone #1-800-786-9330. They call once every 2 weeks at the same time, like clockwork
More creeps:
brian.quigley@ncogroup.com
michael.corcho@ncogroup.com
sally.ray@ncogroup.com
800-786-9330 from a deep voiced b**** by the name of Lisa Lee–yelling at me to put Stan on the phone. I explained no, it is my phone now, not Stan’s. Just kept on yelling. Her boss: bud.manes@ncogroup.com
calling 3 times a day from:
803-000-0000
800-688-3390
I have received their calls also…and read through these…
Check it out– their website to “help” is http://www.consumerhelpunit.org — they do not have the courage to link their business name with their website. These insipid imposters of a ‘global’ ‘customer’ ’service’ business have done the unspeakable! While they are repeatedly found liable for violating personal civil rights, and yet, in America no less, they have created an ‘organization’ (org usually means they are a non profit) are most probably a charitable organization.
…As advised by earlier emails, send the letters, send the faxes, send the emails—maybe they will get the idea…better yet, lets get our news sources to pick up on their business practices…let 60 minutes do to them what they are doing to persons GLOBALLY!

These pains in the asses keep calling from 866-637-0271. I put them on the DO NO CALL LIST
They have been calling me from 800-979-6560
866 229 2619 they call from this impressive worldwide organization. They fish for numbers associated with you, even if they are new.. call and harass, saying old debt is now new and say they work directly for the government and give a New York P.O.
I just got a call… Figured it was something fake when the girls last name was Fanfail. The number they gave me is 1-877-850-1432 … they call me and my grandma looking for my mother. We say she’s not here (she’s not, it’s not her number or address) and they have us take down their information to give to my mother. Any clue what I do about the calls we get when the person they are trying to reach doesn’t live here? They don’t seem to understand “SHE’S NOT HERE!”
They call me ALL THE TIME.. and just 15 minutes ago… they got slick and called me private!!!! I always hang up when the recording says who it is… even though I know who’s calling, but next time I will talk to a live person & see what this is all about. They need to stop wasting my minutes & stop calling!!!! I mean come on, they have like 100 different numbers.. it must be a scam or something.
Phone they called me from while working in an active trauma ER was 866-853-4965 from a Ms. Lopez.
“while working in an active trauma ER” i would hope you would not be answering your cell phone…..
anyways, they call me constantly, like everyone else i have told them many times to stop, i must have inherited someone’s old cell phone number, name isn’t even close to mine
problem is they say “ok, give me your name, address and phone number and i will update our records”
and im thinking heck no, you called me, i didnt call you to give me personal info to you, i called to tell you your records are messed up
so i just ignore their calls now…..
This is what I don’t get:
1- they call on and off and only 2 x have the left a message
2- when they do leave a message, they NEVER say who they are calling for
3- I know I owe NO ONE
One day I did answer and they hung up.
Not sure if I should waste my time trying to call back.
i would like for u to stop calling my phone at 8179959826
They do have a DO NOT CALL list that if you tell them you are going to call the Attorney General and report them and you do not want more calls that they have to log into-internally-and input the phone number.
The number I get calls from is 888-480-1584
Got a call stating he was Jeff Price at the law firm of mumble, mumble couldn’t understand him saying I must call immediately, was from NCO
I have been receiving at least 3 calls a day from number 1-888-876-3995 stating that I need to call Ms. Murphy as this was a collection company and any information they obtain would be used against me to collect a debt. My question is why would I give them any information if they are going to use it against me? Also, I have not received any information from them in the mail or anything at all.
How can I get them to stop calling?
Insist on speaking with a Supervisor-you do not have to state who you are or why you are calling. Tell them you are aware of the companies Do Not Call website and you want your phone number put in it.
the number they call me from is (888)892-3229. They never leave a message except typing and then hang-up. Today I answered and Told them I worked things out with the hospital and the other company “Meritime”. NCO said that they didn’t know what I was talking about and that the debt is not paid off and that they will keep calling until my name is off their list. I DIDN’T EVEN GIVE THEM MY “ACCOUNT” NUMBER SO THEY DIDN’T EVEN KNOW WHO THEY WERE TALKING TO!
Duh! They have called Id. They input any phone number you call from and can ferret out who you are. They also add numbers to an account like this also.
877-273-3495 is a number from NCO calling me. I used to get calls from a company called RMS, and I had no clue about this number but we have blocked all NCO’s phone numbers on our phones so they cant even talk to us. I have never received a letter from them stating anything, so I have no clue why they are calling.
My husband and I have been receiving numerous phone calls from NCO Financial. The phone number that is left on my voicemail is 888-550-3794 with a case number. I just wanted to list another phone number for people to see it. This company calls at least 10 times a day requesting money that I do not have.
It is against FDCPA to use any term that could imply legal. If they are using the term “case number” consult an attorney and report them for violations. Their attorney network is Sessions, Nathan, Fishman & Israel.
I received a call from NCO today. The number on my caller ID was: 909-202-8200. They were demanding a payment of $50 to ensure that my account would not charge off as bad debt in 2 days. The problem is that on May 6, I made a settlement agreement with NCO for $145. I paid $12 that day and refused to pay the remainder (despite their requested June 5 due date) until I received a verification of the debt, in writing. They have my proper address on file but I’ve never the letter, nor did I ever receive the initial debt verification letter that they are supposed to send out per the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
To further compound things, I am unemployed and have been since late ‘09. I have told them this numerous times and that was part of the reason for the settlement agreement. The $50 that they wanted me to pay today would not count towards the settlement agreement because my account was past the 200 day past due limit – by a mere 5 days. I informed them that I was quite upset with their practice of waiting until both the payment is past due and my account is no longer eligible for settlement to contact me. I requested to speak to a manager but she just reiterated what the other employee had said. I ended the phone call with a refusal to pay, a notice to them that I would be reporting them to the BBB (among other places) and that they were not to call me again.
I guarantee if you wait till the last day or 2 of the month and call in a reasonable settlement offer they will accept. They are hurting financially.
Due to financial hardships I recently had to let Capital One Auto finance come and get the car I had financed through them. My vehicle was sold at auction for below the book value of course so now I have to pay $5,459.19 to make up the difference of what I owe on the vehicle. Well, today I got a phone call at work from NCO Financial (877)895-5703 ext. 1900. My employer notified me and I called this number pronto. I explained to the “gentleman” on the phone that there was no way I could pay that amount all at once. He said he was willing to work with me and would get the payment down significantly. After agreeing to $150.00 per month for six months he told me he would then “re-evaluate” the loan. This bill collector wanted my bank acount info. Not so fast I told him because I do not give out any personal info over the cell phone. Now this character is supposed to call me on 6/16/10 at 5:30 pm on my home phone to discuss this matter. This all seems strange that Capital One has placed the matter in the hands of a collection agency so soon. From what I am reading from other recent posts, it sound like NCO financial is shady. What could I do to have them stop calling me? Should I try to make arrangements with Capital One directly?
Capital One Auto Finance is quick to move a charged off account with a deficiency balance to NCO Financial. Capital One will NOT make arrangements with you or discuss the matter since its with NCO Financial. However, you can make payments directly online-if that would make you more comfortable. You can request the Web Access Id-it will have to be in all capital letters and the site is http://www.ncofinancial.com. You can also sign up for e-notices that will email your notices instead of regular mail. I suggest you make arrangements with the collector and go online to complete the transactions. You can print your proof of payment also.
Bay Ridge Bill, I would stop dealing with NCO immediately and contact Capital One. They are the creditor and have no legal right to refuse to negotiate a debt with you. The collections agency will not tell you this because if they do not handle your debt they do not get paid. But they will do everything to extract money from you and nothing to help your credit. Send NCO a cease and desist letter (you can find them on the internet) and write to Capital One and request that they deal with you directly. Ensure that they put any agreements you work out in writing, so that you are protected.
I currently am recieving harassing calls from NCO. I settled a debt with a company in October of 2009, the debt is paid in full. NCO has been calling and insisting that I pay this bill that already paid. The number that I have calling me is 866-442-0536. Thank you for this website. Also, please tell me how to resolve this issue with this company.
Settled is different than Paid in Full. You need to contact the previous company and get a letter saying you Settled the account in full. It could be something simple like the last agency didnt code the account right and when it closed out sent it to another agency.
I get calls from 800-876-5481.
I have no debt, no credit cards, and I’m only 17! These people have to be incredibly stupid.
I blocked them. I have had them calling me from the following number.
(918) 280-0811
You can block a number, but each collector has their own number and each office has their own number. The best thing to do would be pay the bill or have them input your number on their internal do not call list.
another one Mr Prats 18665765180 this one call to puerto rico……
I was recieving calls but couldn’t answer(no voice…lol) When I was able to talk 5 days later I called back and was talked over given tons of attitude and then hung up on. I called hospital and took care of ot through them…turns out there never should have been any calls…the bill had been paid in full via medi-cal for the emergency room but not the doctor on call? Wierd but they billed it and it went through. I then called NCO back spoke to a supervisor and gave them a piece of my mind to say the least. This was today so we’ll see if the calls stop. They called me from 1-800-597-4549
I received a letter in concern to a store credit card. They want me to pay them or I can go to the website of the store and pay. Sounds odd how I am still getting statements from the store credit card and yet NCO wants me to pay them.
The address from this letter is:
P.O. Box 4906
DEPT 64
Trenton, NJ 08650
and another of:
4740 Baxter Road
Virginia Beach, VA 23462
The number on the letter to call and make a pymt is: 1-877-337-2418.
Let’s get these people and turn the tables on them, the company, representatives, and everybody else involved and associated with NCO Financial Systems INC.
I’ve been harassed by these folks for over three years. They have been calling for someone that had the cellphone number I inherited. After trying to get them back a number of times I finally filed a complaint with the PA Consumer Affairs folks. That got NCO’s attention but I noticed that I started getting telephone calls from a Prison System. I would block each one but another would arrive a day or two later. I checked with a Police Chief and he found out that they use prisoners to make a number of their calls. For some reason I have not received any calls for about a month now.
RifRaf your source is Bull $hitting you! They do not use prisoners. They do however use call centers in India and the Philipines. Dont be so gullible.
Just another note from prior comment. The number that was used to call me tonight was *2675194400. Have never gotten a call with a star prefix before. Hope this helps. Earl Johnson.
Received a call from NCO last night about 8:00 p.m. cst. Could not understand the foreign gentleman but took down all the info I could. We paid off a debt To HSBC on a settlemant basis last year in June. Have receipts etc. The gentleman last night insisted that I owed $2631.69 on this account and they were attempting to offer me a lowered “settlement”. He had my social security number, the account number to the account and repeatedly stated that HSBC had hired them to collect this amount. he kept insisting that I hurry and accept the offer and I knew he was recording the call because he kept repeating things over and over. Most of it I was not able to understand. I told him that the account was closed and had been settled in full, but he insisted that I take his offer. I told him that I would have to speak to my wife and clarify the account in question, and he wanted her number and when I would not give that he wanted me to call her and set up a three way call so that we could “hurry” and take his offer. He finally said that he wold grant me 24 hours to verify my information and that he would call back at 8:30 cst tonight. He just called at 7:34 cst, not 24 hours. I told him again that I had verified through my sources that the account was indeed paid in full and had been totally settled. He said that he would note on his report this info. I finally hung up on him to get some peace! His contact information is:
866-372-8498 extension 52932 and what may have been a confirmation number of CZ714. I do not know his name because I could not understand him.
My attorney is going to contact him in the next couple days and verify the information. I am going to check my credit report file and see if they have posted on it. I think it is a scam, whether you have paid a bill or not to harrass you and get you to settle on something you don’t even owe. It is surprising how many people fold under continued pressure and relent just to be free of the trouble. My next step is to see if he got this account from HSBC and if so how legal it would be for them to release this information to a third party especially after the account was mutually settled. Earl Johnson.
Stupid bastards call here several times a day. I DO NOT OWE MONEY. Apparently, they have the wrong #, which seems to be the case with these creeps. I have a call block service and each time they call from a different number I add it to the list. They just keep calling from new numbers each day. 877-843-7429
1-866-287-4495
Mr Guy Emery @ 1-800-275-8105 ext. 3142 calls daily!
The last 2 days I had calls at the house and the caller ID said NCO Financial. The first # was 410-202-0072 and then today it was 559-272-6462. I didn’t know who NCO was, so I did a search online and found a lot of negative info. They haven’t left a message, they hang up on the machine.
After reading at first they are a collection agency, I thought WHAT?? I don’t owe anyone any money. Then I was reading on here and it sounds like they make stuff up. Not sure if I should bother to answer the next time they call or keep letting the machine get it and see if they leave a message.
Got a call regarding a co-worker, I thought it was very innapropriate. The phone number I received the call from is 866-248-9654.
I have been getting calls from NCO for the last few weeks. I am in bankruptcy but they continue to call and harrass me. There are 2 phone numbers they are calling from which are: 310-862-9083 or 206-629-8632. They call between 3 and 5 times a day. They call first thing in the morning and they are usually the last ones to call me at night.
The attorney can take care of this by sending the notice of filing. ALL calls and contact immediately stop! Email your attorney!!
Been receiving automated calls almost every day to return a call to Mrs. Ogle at 866-376-1967.
Annette, I get recorded calls from a blocked “Private” number that tells me to return a call to Ms. Ogle at 866-376-1967. If I don’t answer, they hang up…if I DO answer, it just goes to a recorded message.
To my knowledge, I am debt free. I can’t imagine what they think that I owe and I am confused and concerned but do not want to contact them, based on what all I am hearing.
This company insists on calling my office regarding an individual who has never worked for me, has never been a member or even remotely associated with my law practice. They demand to speak to someone in my office leaving a reference ID number and a telephone number of (800)379-5209. I have told them multiple times to stop calling my office, that I am not associated with the person they are trying to collect from. Their response is to call me a liar, to demand to talk to a debtor that is not part of my practice and I have no clue as to who he is. They insist they can call when they want and as offten as they want regardless of my telling them to stop. I have threatened them with civil litigation and they have actually laughed at me stating “ya right go ahead and see where that gets you”. I am not the debtor and I am looking into filing a civil harassment restraining order action against them.
I have been dealing with these people since I was 18 years old. When I was younger, I was intimidated by their threats and I was worried that my whole life would be ruined by my debt with them. Now, as an adult I have to deal with them on my husbands behalf, and I have learned the secret to talking to these people: Be nice to them and they treat you like shit, Treat them like shit and they will cooperate. This past Friday, we paid off a debt to them of over $300. (Kim Sailor) The collections department assured me that we would recieve a “Payment In Full” letter that same day, as long as the transaction was processed before 12pm. I asked what time zone she was calling from and she said Pacific, same as me so I agreed to pay it. (Violation 1 of the FDCPA; giving false information in order to collect a debt) They gave me the phone number to the ‘compliance’ department to get my letter. I called less than 3 minutes later. I went through countless people, explaining my situation. No one could help me (What a shock, right?). Finally I was told (Tony Solida) that I would have to wait 24 hours for my letter, I agreed, and called back after 24 hours. Though it was a Saturday, I assumed that since I get collection calls on Saturdays and Sundays, I would be able to be assisted. NOPE! They (Rob Waldron) told me to call back on Monday and they would fax me a letter then. So I called on Monday. After being transfered around for about 45 minutes, I was told that I still had a balance ($0.26) and that I would have to pay that first. I explained that I had paid in full on Friday and was promised a letter of payment. They supervisor (Phillip Rosalas) said that because the system failed to update, it accrude interest on the account. I explained my situation…AGAIN, and he put in a request to delete the charges. Now I would have to wait another 24 hours because the system had to update. (Violation 2 of the FDCPA; Any charged accrued after the account is paid in full is not the responsibility of the consumer and the consumer will not be penalized for such charges) I argued with this man about what the letter will need to include (Paid In Full, $0 Balance) and he told me that he could not give that to me for 24 hours. It was now 8pm and I had to put my daughter to bed. I told him I would be calling first thing in the morning to get my letter, and he said “Let’s hope that you can get your letter by then”. I told him that I’m not living my life on hopes and dreams and that I will get my letter come hell or high water the next day. It is now the next day, I have called every direct line; supervisor and agent who has “helped” me so far, and everyone has either been out of the office, in a meeting or on the other line. I have litterally been on the phone with them for the last 2 hours trying to get my Letter of Payment in Full. I have contacted a lawyer, the Department of Justice, the Consumer General, The Better Business Bureau and even the Federal Government about these souless, time sucking, relentlous pieces of shit. My suggestion for anyone dealing with these people…go to the source, whom-ever your debt is through because they may be willing to work with you, instead of running you in circles. Good luck!
The following are the numbers that I have had to call today to finally get my letter of “Payment In Full”
916-636-2680 – California Office
215-441-3000 – Operations Manager’s Line
800-550-9619 – General Information Line
866-269-8669 – Compliance Department (yesterday was a phone number, today is a fax line)
888-289-0907 – General Information Line
-Pissed off in Washington!
Folks trying to collect on any credit card that is charged off by a creditor, is a violation of Federal Law!!
These people are contacting everyone I know about me after I had been working with them on my own phone. Was out of town due to a death in the family and when they couldn’t reach me, they called relatives and employer.
Their new numbers are: 888-899-5920 and 800-448-9570.
They need to be reprimanded.
614-791-4590
Don’t owe a dime to anyone just have the same name. God help John Smith.
If everyone called them at least 4x a day(especially their toll free #s) it would at least make it more expensive for them to operate. It seems like with the amount of problems out there a class action suit would be in order.
I’m being called about my brother’s debts. I get 3 to 4 calls day. I’m sick and tired of it. He has never lived here (and I don’t want him here) and these idiots won’t stop calling. The number today: 1-877-843-7429.
888-550-3794
this is another # for nco408-538-5101
they call as early as 6am and as late as midnight.
Tired in Littlerock, CA
These assclowns have just started harassing the shit out of me over a debt that is 10-12 years old. Don’t they realize that it is common knowledge that these bad debts drop off of your credit file after 7 years. I was not able to pay the debt and after it ruined my credit for a period of time, I decided to ride it out and wait till it dropped off. The thing that bothers me most is that they are calling my cell phone. how in the hell did they get that number. The number thay called me from was 866-663-8609. If they continue this harassment I will send them a letter to cease and desist.
received a phone call from nco financial the phone number that came up
was 000-000-0000 unkown sounds like a SCAM they have wrong number
im so sick of these people calling me all the time… they get real beligerant on the phone. They asked why i have not paid my bill well duh obviously i dont have the money. Then they ask if im working i told them no. They asked why not…told them i was pregnant and said there should be no reason why i still cant work! They asked how far along i was i told them that was none of their business…Someone needs to stop these a$# holes from harassing people like this!!! it is absolutly ridiculus!!!
They called my landlord yesterday. I’ve already reported them to the Federal Trade Commission and I will report them to PA Attorney General. I called earlier today to ask for their fax number and I had to remind the customer service rep that they’re legally forced to provide their contact information to their harassed ‘clients’ before he gave it to me.

here’s a new number-877-273-3495
800-260-5570- Calling my new husbands home phone asking for my ex husband. Crazy!!!
Well I just received a call from NCO Financial and the first thing the lady on the phone asked(after telling me it was from NCO Financial) was what phone number I was answering from. I asked her twice what was this concerned to and she hung up on me . Since I know who I owe money and my accounts are up to date, I am taking the steps to stop this harassing calls. Here is the number I got on the phone id 800-373-7997. While writing this I was on the phone and the lady that answered told me they do a “search” by Name, telephone number and last 4 digits of the social security( which is strikes me as odd cause my phone number is not listed as I got it installed just 7 days ago). The thing is they had two right(phone number and name (but not the last 4). It seems to me they make the calls, ask the personal information (making it look they are verifying it) and if you answer that the info is not correct they make the change and slap you with a credit report or something else as a legit debt. Also I asked the lady why would she need me to tell my number if she was the one that called. The response is that they call a high volume of people every day. But then she started giving me the info she had and where did she struck out on the last 4 digits of the ssn. This could well be used for identity stealing scams or worse. The lady also said” We may be calling the wrong person”, well damn right you are. But why hung up when I asked before what was this about. She told me they wouldn’t be calling again and I hope they don’t as I hate to get this type of calls.
I got my first call late last week. I’ve returned the phone call four times now, it’s a Diane Meyers. I’ve never successfully spoken to this SOB, always got a voicemail, though I did once get a live person, Lorenzo, but Diane was conveniently “on the phone”. I got my first after 9pm automated phone call tonight. I’m absolutely livid. I’m reporting them to donotcall.gov and the PA Attorney General. I have no debt and I’m in my early twenties, so I don’t have that many years of holding my own accounts for them to try to collect old debts. It’ll be interesting to see what these bastards invented for me. Phone numbers: 866-626-1910, 888-281-7679, 800-334-0626, 888-920-3217. If these idiots were ligit why would they have so many phone numbers?
what i always do with these people -AND all others who call me and don’t stop when i request it – is to file a complaint with the Dept of Justice in the state they do business in.
it is VERY successful. the DoJ always follows the complaint, responds by letter to me and BEST OF ALL, the phone calling ceases.
please try it to stop the harrassment we all receive.
On 5/4/10 I received a message to call “Diane Myers” at NCO Financial Systems at 800-334-0626. I returned the call and was put on hold for 10 minutes. A man named Dennis finally came on, asked my name, and told me I owed a bill for $69.28 for treatment at a hospital in New York City. I was treated at a hospital in New York City in July 2009 after suffering a fall during a visit to friends in the city. I live in Maryland now and have lived here since 2003. I told him I had never received a bill for $69.28 either from Medicare or my supplemental insurance. The bills owed the hospital were paid by my Medicare and my supplemental insurance, and I have all the statements to verify the payments. When I questioned him further, he gave my old address in New York City. When I told him I lived in Maryland, he hung up. I have no idea how NCO got my phone number in Maryland, or how they got my old address in New York City, but they must have known that my phone number in Maryland is an entirely different area code. Should I hear from them again, I will contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General.
NCO Financial System with a phone number 800-786-9330, has called me and asking personal questions.. I want to know why they are calling, what’s the purpose of their call and they are not answering my questions.
I want them to cease call my 305-395-0814, I have not done any business with them and don’t know them..
I appreciate your help and hope you stop these people calling and harrasing the hard working citizens..
email consumer assistance go to http://www.consumerhelpunit.org
http://www.consumerhelpunit.org is a NCO web site to help consumers. Right, you want to contact them to get them to STOP harassing you. Thats like poking a stick at a Hornets nest.
bill was cancelled by hospital because of repeated surgery ( out patient. One month after original surgery Screw came out of my back and had to be removed) received my first call yesterday. # was 1800 786 9330 going to wait to see where this goes. Have a great Lawyer that loves to go after these kind of people.
Phone numbers left by NCO in 10 over a 3 week period in Mar. & Apr. 2010:
800-221-8887 Message said to ask for Mrs. Langford
800-273-6816 Message said to ask for Mrs. Langford
888-480-1534 Message said to ask for Jeff Price
I have returned none of these calls, but plan to file complaints.
I had to pay a debt of $163 left over from a class I took in 2007 for driving violations. I had a restricted drivers license until the debt was paid. The class turned over my bill to NCO Financial. I called different phone numbers for several months to make an attempt to pay this debt and receive my regular license again. All of the numbers I called were NCO financial but had no account in my name or the class. I spoke with the class several times to have them help me pay the amount owed and finally after about 20 different numbers NCO found my account. I paid my debt and NCO stated within the week my class would receive the funds, so I could receive my license back. It has been over a month, the class has not been paid for by NCO and The number i called doesnt have my account on file. How do I go about screwing these people over and getting my license back? Anyone?
866-442-0536 Just called and was very rude.
I received what looked like a post card from NCO with a “special reference number” that said I owed Bucks County Courthouse $510.00 from 9 years ago! Iknew it had to be bullshit because you are not allowed to be thru with probation until ALL fines and court costs are paid. When I called them, a person immediately answered, she didn’t ask for any reference number. She asked my name, and when I told her my name she didn’t ask the spelling of my last name – EVERYONE ASKS HOW TO SPELL IT. Today they called from 251-662-1911. The number they left for me to call back is 1-800-221-6850.
Sending a post card about a debt is a violation of the FDCPA, call your Department of Justice and also the Attorney General on PA. They can help get these viscious soulsuckers off your back. Hope that helps.
Meagan is correct. However, it is perfectly legal to send a paper taped or slightly sealed and its more economical for them to use this. Its a fairly new tool they use.
They just called me. The number they have used is 1800 379 5209.
I have filed a complaint to both the donotcall.gov and the Pennsylvania Attorney General. Of course, I have no debt. When I talked to them TWICE already they asked me if my name was XXXX. OF course, my name is different. So, they got the wrong guy. They said “we will take you off the list”. They didn’t of course.
Talk about RUDE! I even called back (OK, so I paid for a long distance call) and was transferred to the supervisor of the person who called. I could leave a message or press “O” and then I was on hold again. I hung up. This is NUTZ!
How about that … I received my first message from these people today.
I never answer my home phone due to telemarketers anyway, but I learned long ago to investigate information left on my machine before I reply, and it turns out to be another collection racket with a sleazy reputation.
Like everyone else who found their way here, I have no idea why they would pick me when I don’t owe a DIME to anyone, but an automated voice blurted out my full name and middle initial correctly, with an ID number to refer to, and the same exchange they slapped Suzy with on April 14th … 866-761-3594.
Considering the onslaught of their calls, I suspect this is actually a function of a much larger effort to disrupt the lives of working American’s who tow the line as productive citizens, but these toads are just wasting their own resources on me.
Also, you can bet they monitor this site.
Somehow NCO got my cell phone number . It comes through unknown. But the return number they leave is 866-416-1426. Is there anyway to check without calling them back as to what this is about. They leave a reference #. Haven’t a clue who I would owe money to
it’s odd how they are calling my friends up, and they are claiming that they are a hospital and then they ask for someone who has passed away!! they called up and said they are chesapeake health and asked for the last 4 digits of someone’s social security number!! If you were from a hospital~~ they dam sure aint gonna ask you for the last 4 digits of your ss number!! when they were called back (1-800-786-9330) they tried to say they never called my friend’s number!! how dum do they think people are??
The calls I receive are automated with this number to call: 800-786-9330. It doesn’t seem to matter that I have only had this number a short while and its collection call was the first one received when the service was started. (Great way to break in the new phone number.) Anyway, the automated voice tells me to call John Huber or Sally Rae. Each call back results in being told that person is not available and being asked for my identity. Today’s call back resulted in being on hold for several minutes only to have the system hang up on me. I have completed the online form to complain to the Attorney General of Pennsylvania.
Apr 2010 (877)373-5807.
anyone have their email?
their emails are the persons first name.last name@ncogroup.com They have to be a legitimate supervisor/trainer to have an email. Find out who the General Manager is for the site calling you and you will be able to annoy them.
These shit-heads have been calling me for months, nearly daily, sometimes very early in the morning, for a $1400 debt I incurred at age 20 (having been aggressively marketed to by credit card companies as a young college student). NCO Financial Systems, aka “NCO Portfolio Management Inc” bought the debt and recently offered me a “discount” on paying it.
I am in my mid-30’s now for fuck’s sake, and this relatively small debt I incurred as a kid has been off my credit report for nearly a decade. I owe nothing. I have excellent credit now and have never been in debt after this. And these stupid obnoxious fuckers are calling me and leaving me messages round the clock, wasting my minutes. They are trying to collect through sheer harassment. They will not get a penny from me, and I am inspired to take legal action by this post and these comments – thanks.
(P.S. the number they use to call me was already listed – 1-877-349-7517.)
new #’s 757-209-2054, 408-5385102, 253-248-6406, 443-205-1045
(Revised) NCO Financial Systems left a message on my machine for the first time today (April 23, 2010), at 1:46 p.m.) stating the call was a “debt collection notice”, and requesting, in both Spanish and English, that I call a Mrs. Marcano, at 800-967-6020.
It’s been a few years now that we’ve heard from these idjitz. It’s about my husband’s college loan from the Dept. of Ed. It’s been over 35 years since the loan was taken out and the DoE claims we are no longer responsible for anything related to his account plus my in-laws claim it was paid off at least 25 years ago. They found this somewhere, must have done their buy-a-thou’-for-a-penny scam and are trying to get 11 times the amount of the original loan from us.
We are now getting robo-calls, but used to hear from real people named Sarah, Sharon, Mary Parker, Judy, Mark, David, and more. The numbers include 866-761-3594, 866-403-3548, 800-986-6035, 866-800-9834, 888-802-5169, 866-805-6849. Several other numbers won’t give a company name, but sounded exactly the same as the call from the day before (from a different number).
One call only told us our customer ID number–NCO#####–and immediately we who they were. They aren’t too swift at being anonymous. And it’s almost amusing how their phone numbers change–almost like anagrams from the same few numbers, screwed up as much as possible to get the most for them to call from, and then with a different 800/888/866/877 tag on the front.
There are times when I wish I could transmit a really good punch through the telephone!
The calls started around four weeks ago, every Thursday around the same time I get an automated message, asking me to call back a certain Diane Meyer. I didn’t jot down the number, but I’ll do so next time.
The thing is, I don’t even have an American credit card. I went to my bank because the first few calls made me unsure about all this – and I was told that with the card I have from my bank I don’t build a credit history, so I cannot even be in debt with anybody (school pays my tuition).
Also, I suppose that if something went wrong with the credit card I have from my home country’s bank, that I’d be contacted from them, not from an American company (but even there I always check via online banking that everything is fine).
Soooo…the bank lady here said I should ignore the calls. She hadn’t even heard from them.
I’m a kid and got phoned in school from 877-784-1999

New # 1-800-786-9330
800-448-9570 this morning, left a voice mail.
Did identify themselves as NCO Financial and that it was in regards to a debt, but didn’t identify who they were actually looking for.
Still went and double checked my credit report just to see if anything weird had happened recently, and everything is still in good standing, so I suspect it’s a fishing expedition as I can’t fathom any legit reason they could be contacting me.
This outift has been calling me for two months – we owe nothing to anyone; I finally caught a live body who was very rude, and asked them to remove my number. They claim to be looking for an “Alice Johnson,” but I would like to hear whether any one has had the same experience, and the same name mentioned.
Thanks – don’t take any crap off of the vermin.
heres another # 1800711-0454
another NCO number 1-877-273-3495
I figured out that when they call looking for some odd person’s name… like “Raul” that several people were saying they ask for what they are really doing is trying to get you to say who you are.
“hello Raul?”
“No, you have the wrong number”
“is this 555-xxx-xxxx”
yes that is the number but this is not Raul…
then they will either hope you say.. my name is ********* or they will ask “for our records, who am I speaking to”
Don’t tell them anything – even if its a wrong number!!!
Eight years ago after going through a very difficult pregnancy that cost a lot of money, we started getting calls from NCO. They ended up filing a judgement against us for $5,000 which I eventually paid. Now they’re back over a recent hospital bill for $1,250 and threatening to file again. I am more than willing to pay but don’t have enough money to pay my living expenses let alone this. They don’t care and would rather I not have money to feed my family. It blows my mind that they have the balls to tell me how to handle my finances. It’s not as if I asked to get sick and have the ER charge $6,000 to do a CT scan to tell me I had a kidney stone then get paid $3,000 from my insurance and still send me a bill and to collections.
Keep calling me even after I have sent a certified letter!!! Whoever received it at NCO signed it as Shirley McQuack.. I paid this bill months ago..I can’t get a phone number because it is hidden from caller i.d.! I am soo upset because I have never not paid a bill and they will not stop.. They are so unprofessional and sound like ghetto trash on the phone. One was even eating while she read her prepared script to me. They give you fake names and numbers..HELPPPP!!
Another number: 800-379-5209. Thanks for the information. I too am receiving numerous calls that I can’t ever get a response to when I try to call back to investigate. I called the number given by Pro2719 and got a live person who did exactly what other comments said they would do – try to get personal information out of me! Several debts associated with that ID number, could I verify my name and phone number, etc. I told him that he already had my phone number associated with an ID number that they gave me and that he could use that information to remove it from their call list. I also told him if the calls continued i would report them. He assured me my number would be removed. Funny thing, though… when I asked his name, he didn’t want to provide it….
Im a college student and I went home for the first time in weeks today, and seen the same letter in the mail, but I have not gotten any phone calls. Its states that I owe $411 and can pay a lump sum $287.70. I dont know what to do cause I have not bought or owed anybody money. I took out loans from Salley Mae and they said I could pay them after I graduate. This should not be anything pertaining to my loans. Please give me feedback ASAP. Thanks
new number 1-888-480-1534
When I got into work this morning there was a message on my machine from NCO. They told me they were trying to collect a debt, and they left the number 1-800-220-1942 with an extension to call back. It was outside of their normal business hours, so I called the number listed on another comment on this site (http://www.consumerhelpunit.org/ (800) 724-2584; whoever posted this thank you SO much). The woman asked how she could help me and I politely yet very firmly told her that I received a call at work from NCO claiming that I owe them a debt. The man did not leave his name, nor did he identify the name of the person he was trying to reach. I told her that outside of my mortgage and car payment I have never owed a debt in my life (God has been very good to me), and I wanted to know why I received this phone call at my office and how they got my number. She asked for my name and I told her that before I give her ANY of my personal information, I want to know how they obtained my phone number and what they are claiming I owe. She asked for the phone number that was contacted, and the debt ID number that was identified in the message I received. I gave her my work phone number that was called, and the debt ID number that the man left on my macine, and she put me on hold for about 2 minutes. When she came back she said that debt ID number was tied to debt owed by several people and she wanted to know if I was one of them. She rambled off about 15 names, none of which were mine! She said that she would take my number off the list, and it would take 24 hours to be effective. I then asked for her name and thanked her for her time and assistance. Later today I will be calling the number that was left on my machine and letting them know that I’ve spoken to consumer help, and this is a mistake, and that I do not owe them any money. Trust me, if they persist, I’ll be the one getting paid by them.
Bottom line: if you’re getting these calls out of the blue, think twice before you give them any of your personal information that they don’t already have.

Calls from Don Wilson. 866-385-2928. What a moron!
I’ve just recently gotten a new cell phone and these people have been calling me since using the number (888) 579-0626 about owning debt. I don’t see how I could owe any debt considering I’m still in highschool and I haven’t taken any loans or anything. Also, whenever I try to call from the given time frames there’s never been anyone there to pick up the phone. It’s impossible to reach them. Does anyone know how to get a hold of them? By the way, does anyone know their e-mail address?
Kris–Go to NCO website and call their number (you will be on hold for SEVERAL minutes!) When you finally get a live person DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR NAME or any info other than you cell number. Tell them this is a ‘new’ number for you and you need them to take it off their ‘list’. They will try to intimidate you into giving more info but don’t. Tell them if they don’t take the number off, or they continue to call, you will file a complaint with the FTC. This worked for me in a similar situation (plus I filed an online complaint form before I ever told them I was going too just because I got tired of their rude calls & hangups!) Good luck!
These people have been calling my cell-phone every day for months. I have called them back three times in the past week, at 866 637 1967, to ask them to remove my number from their list. After reading some of the above posts, I’m skeptical that they will relent. By the way, I do not now, nor have I ever had any unpaid debts.

if anyone is interested i have a resource that has handled my nco issues. he told me that the cease and desist that is posted above is incomplete and his guess would be the letter would be discarded on the basis of being incomplete.
he charged me 20.00 to send and file mine. its worked to get them off my back. he said i could post his email if there was an interest. but befor i do, you all need to let me know if you want his email at all. personally, i say we send a mountain of these cease and desits to build another class action against nco.
by the way ive had them calling me for over 3 years….. now nothing :)

They keep calling my cell phone, a number I’ve had for ten years. I went to their Web site (ncogroup.com), called the number, and ended up in a call center in India. After ten minutes, he said he had deleted the record with my phone number from their database and I should expect no more phone calls after 48 hours. We’ll see. He gave me this email address: compliance@ncogroup.com if I continue to have problems.
OH!!! I hate them. They call me at least 3 to 5 times a day on my cell. The bill I have with them is an old student loan. I had grad in 94 and went in to the service. The loan was deferred, until I got out of the service. I then went to school and had it deferred again ( I owed just under 3000 at the time of going back to school). I took a brake from school and the calls started to come. I when took a year off, my bill is now just over 5000. What the F***!!! I am now trying to finish school, but how can I when I have to pay this bill and not get financial aid. Does someone know what I can do to fight the 2000? I am an accounting major and I do not understand how they can get 2000 in interest. Student loans have a small interest rate and it does not add up to 2000. It comes to just under 1000. By all accounts the bill should of been dropped due to being over 14 years old. I figured that I had it deferred.
Please if anyone can help me fight this company on the 2000, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you
I am receiving calls on my cell phone from this NCO Company. They are
trying to reach whoever had this phone number before me and so I’m stuck
with these recordings . I have contacted them and told them repeatly that
I’m not who they are trying to reach and am not getting anywhere. So short
of blocking there number 800 724-1107 or 800 350-2457 I would welcome
any suggestions.
Kris
i have been getting “restricted” phone calls on my cell (which i never answer) and they leave an automated message which only provides me with the last part of their message. the # they ask me to call is 888-497-9800. when i googled that number, it came up as NCO. i didn’t see that number on your list, so i thought you may want to add it.
i also want to say – there are no “collections” on my credit report, so i am not interested in answering their calls, especially if all they do is collect old old debt. i’ve been trying to get my credit all worked out for the last 4 years and have contacted those with whom i had legitimate amounts due — they are all handled. so if NCO does claim they have an old debt of mine, chances are the company has already written it off their books and taken a loss. so the money you pay will go directly into NCO’s pockets, not your old creditor.
thanks!
The number they called me from is 877-273-3495
New number 800-782-1758! Call and harrass you (even though we are NOT people who owe them debt b/c they have the wrong number) and after waiting for 20 minutes, Ms. Venable hung up on me! Then two other employees – Ms. Artis and Ms. Darlene (sounded JUST LIKE Ms. Venable – convenient how they can change their names) as well as the manager “Todd Slack” were extremely unprofessional using terms like “oh well”, “whatever”, etc. b/c they could’ve cared less that they kept calling the wrong number NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY!
i just got a new number and i’ve told your people that it was not me who they looking for. they still kept on calling me! WTF?!!!! what dont you guys get on that message… I’m not raul what ever the name you looking for. do you guys keep on harrassing people like this? for someone you looking might have a new # you know and my number is a recycle number. i got two calls already that someone is looking for. dang! leave me alone!
I don’t know if this is a coincidence or not but I recently activated a new cell phone with a new number. I immediately started getting numerous calls on debts for a “Raul”. I had to get rid of that number and get another. But now NCO has started to call me on my landline this week. Yesterday there was a message and there is one there today again. I do not have any outstanding debts that have not been or are not being paid. NONE. I will see how many more times they call, and then I will file a complaint seeing how rampant this problem is for people.
Here’s a new NCO number. I get calls daily – at all hours of the day: 877-349-7517. This is for debt that is over 15 years old!
We have been being harrassed by Ms. Allen for over a year now. B of A was kind of enough to pay bills and overdraft my account without my permission.
I tried to stop the payments well in advance but b of a was kind enough to have already paid them.
So when my husband went to pay off the account they would not accept his money because they had already had turned this over to NCO. Well, Ms. Allen who loves to call anywhere between 3 – 5 times a day looking for my husband. We will make a payment for the month and she calls back 2 fucking days later.
The last time she did this, I was home on my lunch hour and made the mistake of answering the phone cuz it was a different number she was calling from for like the hundreth time. When she asked for my husband I told her he was working and that she just spoke to him the other evening and that I was right there when he made the payment. I went on further to advise her that this is harrassment if it does not stop she will be hearing from our lawyer. I already have one law suit against one bank and I will be more than happy to go out of my way to have a harrassment lawsuit filed against them. Well she has not called back in about 2 days. We shall see what happens.
This one only the latest of her lovely actions. So we missed a payment here and there, I am laid off, like the rest of half the people here in America, so yes times are tough. So, I will skip on a bill to make this bs payment. Well the one month this bitch had the balls to ask my husband how he had the money to make last payment but not this one. Well I fucking lost it….seriously lost it cuz I heard her ask the question. Well I began to get very loud and he did not have to repeat it back to her, “tell that fucking bitch it is none of her damn business (and I did not say bitch I am only saying that here to be nice ) And I called her a few other choice words that I will not list here. But who the hell does she think she is asking a personal question like that. Well the smart as my husband is, is waiting for her to ask him that question again and then he is going to respond that he sold his sperm and hooked me out for the night so he can get her fucking ugly ass off of ours!!! But I think she will not ask that question again.
Oh and I love how she will say well are you sure he’s not there. WTF lady if he’s not home, he’s not home….what do you want me to do. Honestly I just want to pay this off and if they ever call my house again I will filing a lawsuit.
Hope you did not pay nco one red cent, they are a third party dumb collection agency, that rude, stupid and they bought this debt on about 3 cents on the dollar. hate these people!!! They need to be closed down.

I just received a message to call Ms Castro @ 1-800-782-1758. We are up to date on everything with absolutely nothing outstanding. I’m glad I did some research first. I saw a comment about FASFA. I just filled out my ‘10-’11 form and received a call that evening. ?????
My daughter had an account at Bank of America. She hasn’t used it in almost a year. Evidently it was overdrawn by 25.00. BoA closed the account in Dec09 and turn it over to NCO Financial Services. Just found out today.
I’ve read over all of the comments on this site and I’m nervous as hell for her to talk to this company. She just turned 18 and she isn’t so savvy in this area. She just wants to pay what she owes. Would it be unsafe for her to contact them and send them this money?
She HAS to pay it – it would be silly to let it ruin her credit for $25. But make sure she is able to have proof that it was paid. If she’s gotten a letter, there’s probably an account number on there, so if she could pay it online and print out a confirmation sheet, I’d do it.
Pay Bank Of America not nco financial.
I’d be careful dealing directly with NCO. There’s no guarantee that they will apply the payment correctly to her account (lots of comments from people stating that once you start paying NCO they “discover” lots of fees for being late and processing and …)
You’re better off trying to deal directly with Bank of America. With them you also have some leverage about trying to explain the situation and getting this removed from her credit report or at least notated correctly with an update. NCO has no interest in your situation, just the money.
The only people who say that paying NCO works in your favor are the people that work for NCO…
I don’t work for NCO, and have had quite a time dealing with them regarding my Capital One card. If dealing with Bank of America is an option, by all means, deal with THEM (although I do think they’re just as crooked as NCO). My point was that it would be silly to let a $25 collections notice hurt her credit.

got a call from these assholes….rude liars claiming i owed 850 dollars for a keyspan energy bill and when i tried asking questions a bitch named Amanda kept interupting me without letting me get a word in. When i said give me another rep she yelled NO and hungup. I called back kept ringing and ringing…i called from a different number (my house phone) same rep Amanda answered and i asked for supervisor. She said supervisor is busy and will call me back. At that time i googled nco and found all this dirt on them. What do i do just not asnwer???

Today I got a call from 1-800-782-1758 informing me that they were NCO Financial Systems, they were collecting a debt, and to call Ms. Castro back at that number. They did not state any information such as an account number or whom they were attempting to reach. I called, waited on hold for over ten minutes, gave up, and tried the number on their bogus “Consumer Help Unit” http://www.consumerhelpunit.org/ (800) 724-2584 I gave the representative there our phone number, and she said there was no account listed for it. So I called the original number once again, and after waiting on hold for half an hour, finally reached someone who told me the debt was in my husband’s (fairly common) name, and that it was owed to the State of Maryland for tuition. My husband has never been to Maryland or attended college, so I informed her this was a case of mistaken identity. She insisted that payments had been made on the account from someone at our phone number. When I told her this was impossible, she rudely said “okay, I’ll remove it” and hung up on me. We’ll see what happens. My husband works nights and needs his sleep, so unsolicited phone calls are a huge nuisance for us. I’m keeping records of everything in case we run into trouble with them.

my mom has been receiving calls from NCO and says to call to this number 800-273-6816. We don’t even know who they are looking for.
Received one from 1-800-685-4343
I received a call from NCO from (888) 281-7785
I posted about three months ago that I had no problem working with NCO. I set up a payment arrangement for $150 a month, and was told that all recurring fees and charges would be suspended during this time. I should have gotten it in writing. $150 payment per month would have been great, however, when they’re charging $129 a month in fees, how is anyone supposed to pay anything off? Back in December, I sent a certified letter regarding calling me at work – it is my work number, they cannot call me here, etc. The calls stopped until today. “Wally” advised me (ever so kindly) that my account was past due, and would I like to make a payment of $500 today. I informed him that I would not, and let him have it as to why. I also reminded him “You do realize I can take further action, don’t you? I have proof of a certified letter sent asking you to remove my work number from my account. You are NOT allowed to call me here.” I’m lucky – I get a bonus in April and will be using the whole thing to pay it off (there goes vacation, but hey, I guess I’m now a responsible adult). But honestly – with “payment arrangements” like this, how is anyone supposed to get anything paid off? It IS my fault – I realize that. I was stupid in college and made stupid financial decisions. But I’ve paid off Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and CitiCard… all of which were happy to work with me, and set up LEGITIMATE payment arrangements. If you enter into any kind of arrangement with these jerks, get it in writing. I’m sorry I didn’t.
They do not have any letters for monthly payers. They do have Settlement offers and Receipts. It is NCO’s policy that ANYBODY can tell them to remove a phone number and they are supposed to do it. Keep track of names, dates and times of when you speak with these people. You can get to the big bosses-Owner, CFO, SVP, etc.
got a new number for yall. 877-273-3495
Thought I should add to this list of comments given that it sounds as if these are really sleazy people.
My robocalls started a few days ago from 800.711.0454.
I haven’t carried any debt at all for many years, and never had problems when I did. I suspect they are mistakenly looking for some woman at this number that some debt collector called for years ago now. Don’t remember her name, but never heard of her.
These people are eating my cell minutes, in addition to generally being an irritant. I actually tried to call them back to advise them of their error, but placed on perpetual hold and no voice mail option that works. Damned if I would give them a single digit from my SSN! That’s nuts.
If it keeps up, I will sent certified letter to their corporate counsel.
These #’s are NCO /NCO affiliates
I have been dealing with these thugs since 2002.. I have gotten them stopped a few times only to have them buy a batch of new companies and start up again. Looks to me like they are getting around the C&D letters by calling new companies ‘affiliates’ that they (subconstract) services to. Sure..

More down and destitute. They took my tax return last week. I do owe for student loans which I am being garnished but when I called several numbers at the american loan association they gave me a number at NCO. After being referred to many other numbers later, they couldn’t help me. I called the last number and ofcourse no answer, not even a machine for a message. They say I have to make payment arrangements but how can I when I can’t get in touch with them? I don’t think they want to be contacted.
New Number 866-853-4965. The msg is in Emglish and Spanish to call back to one Marion Edwards. I don’t have a debt in this world, ad since it is a recorded msg that they leave, I think they are just phising to see who falls into the trap.
Exactly the same: number and contact person. It’s a recorder message. I also think is phishing.
This NCO Financial called my wife cp number twice and leave a message to call the number 877-745-0426 with a code number. However, my caller ID shows different number and that was 800-240-0381. I called that number and the guy who answer my call is asking my name and I did not give it to him instead I said go fxck your Mom and he hang up. These people deserve that kind of statement because they are not suppose to work with these kind of company like NCO Financial.
I just started getting calls from these people this week. The funny thing is, we have no outstanding debts/bills/etc. Shame on them.
new #’s 800-448-9570 716-568-5810
Started getting calls from NCO, 800-786-9330 this week. 1st call was a message to call back and 2nd was from a girl asking for a Melissa Fletcher who we have been getting calls asking for her the last 4 years off and on. Told girl that there was no Melissa here and she hung up.
Will have to see if I get anymore calls before I start writing letters et.
So i recently started to get calls from them! I owe nothing and i never have! They called me at least 4 times a week! I finally called back and we figured out that they were not looking for me or anyone in my household and he said he deleted the number from the system!
That was last week! Today as early as 8 am (when they are legally allowed to call you) they called me 3 times in a row and leaving me a message on the answering machine! It was the same guy i was supposed to call! I called back and gave him a piece of my mind! I told him if they ever call me again i would go further steps since im not the person they were looking for! He told me he took me of the list! (YET again lets see how long thats going to last)
I filed a complained today and tomorrow ill sent out the cease letter!
The number they have been calling from is OuT of Area but its 1 800 761 4990, 1 800 418 8848 and 1 800 268 9806!
Im sick of it! I would understand if they would call for me or my husband but thats not the case!
NCO is a stupid, crappy, f’d company, no doubt about it. I think the best thing is to not do business with the company that sold your debt to NCO. In my case, it was Bank of America who sold my debt to this retarded, pathetic company so I no longer do any kind of business with B of A.
i got a cal from the nco from 1-866-6370270
Past 5 numbers to call my home, from NCO:
866-869-3502 (caller ID identifies caller as National Recovery System)
636-530-7985 (caller ID identifies caller as NARS)
918-280-0811 (caller ID identifies caller as NCO Customer MG)
Unknown name / number, privatename/ number, but answering the phone reveals this to be an NCO representative.
I think NCO circumvents US laws by outsourcing these calls through its Jamaica and Puerto Rico offices. Some of the representatives definitely have non-American accents, and can barely speak grammatical English. They can’t read, and they certainly can’t use computers, based on my experience in dealing with them.
It is my 10 year old daughters phone. And she is getting the calls but does not answer them I call back and she is getting calls from collection agency for someone else who has gave a number and it is hers!!!!!!!!!!!!And have gave them a piece of my mind. I am really getting tired of all of this. Cell phone number should have never been given out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I receive calls from the worlds most friendly freaking company twice a day. I usually ignore them. Today they called me at 8:00am. I am sorry but, do not call me at 8 in the morning asking for money. I get the same prerecorded message to call them back at 800-511-8670 so I did. The lady who answered never gave me her name. She gave me the attempt to collect speech and asked for me. I said I understand that I owe some money, but calling me at 8am especially when I have a 2 yr old is not okay. She said well you owe us money. I do Not owe NCO anything, I owe a college. I continued to say that I am not employeed right now so I cannot make the payment. This B*___ says so your refusing to pay the debt and we will put that on your credit report. I said I am not refusing. I just am unable, and I’d appreciate it if you could call later in the day. She said again, refusal to pay, and ma’am we will call anytime until this debt is paid. At that point I lost it, and cussed her out.
These people are so rude! I redpect people for doing their jobs, and I try to be nice. It is my debt to pay, but I can only take so much. If you want me to pay you you need to be nice to me, ya know. I will be sending the C&D letter Monday. I actually hope they call after that. I would Love for them to pay me, and my debt..Ha!
I started getting calls from these idiots regarding owing someone money, who I ask?? I should know that and if I do not give them my card number I am going to prison, the sherif is going to pick me up soon, I asked for a supervisor, some jerk (I could not undertand) said he was a senior attorney with the law firm, yesterday my bill (from who I do not know) was 948, today it is $821, come on now.
What jerks these people are, I phoned an attorney in my state, (mo) he just laughed at me, asked if I was Burney Madoff?? Do not send these folks one penny, if you do not know who you owe money to , and will not tell you, this attorney told me they would be paying me.
They also told info that I was a dead beat to my 42 year old daughter and my son (who answered the phone while visiting). That is against the law in Missouri.
Good luck with these jerks, cannot understand one word they say besides.
Told me I was a stupid silly person and hung up on me.
I just signed up for phone service and have been getting calls from these idiots. I never answer and they never leave messages. 443-550-7955 comes up on caller id.
All my bills are current, so they must be looking for a previous person to that number.
calls come from 800-883-0613
Okay, this morning I was woken up to the wonderful people at NCO Financial Systems Incorporated stating they’re a debt collection company and that they needed to speak to ‘me’ about an important matter, collect information, and to collect a debt. To call someone back at 1-800-303-1043.
Now to my knowledge I haven’t had so much as a late payment on ANY account in the last 5 years. I checked my credit report, and there’s NOTHING in collections, and NO late or missed payments currently.
I do know that my last run-in with NCO Financial was in 2002 when I cancelled my Sprint cellphone (which was already paid to Sprint Directly).
The starting balance in 2001 was 12 dollars. In 2002, that price went up to 98 dollars. Told them to stop calling me, and that I was paid up already. I then used the number they called me on into a data line for 8 years due to their harassment.
Now they’re calling me at my new home. Since they don’t say WHO they’re looking for, and I KNOW I have no outstanding debts, I’m figuring they’re either looking for someone else, OR they must be desperate trying to collect on an initial debt of 12 dollars from 10 years ago.
I’m picking up next time and chewing some ass.
I received a call stating it was about a debt collection- at work number. I have no outstanding debts- This comment reminded me of a sprint bill we contested then paid back in 2000- i wonder if its that- but I am not enticed to call- will just send a stop call letter- why don’t they ever mail info?
NCO calls my home repeatedly, wanting to speak to my ex-wife, from whom I’ve been divorced for 17 years. I have told them repeatedly not to call here, I don’t have any information on her whereabouts. They say they will update their info and not call anymore; a few weeks will go by, and then the calls start again. I sent a certified, cease-and- desist letter to their Pennsylvania office on 2/23/10. They received it today (2/25/10). Hopefully the calls will stop. The last time they called, and were told not to call here again, I gave them a number to call, told the caller to explain themselves to whoever answered. The number was for our county Sheriff’s Department. :-)
Hey I just received a bill of $610 from the NCO Financial and it was from along time ago and besides I have never had a credit card before! Should I go to the police station and report it? Or Should I Go talk to my bank??? Can someone please reply!!!
if this bill is under ur name and ss# it is idtheft and you need to go to http://www.ftc.gov/idtheft, and you can get all the details of how to get that straightened out. If it not under your ss# and just your name, they are looking for someone with the same name, but not you, send a cease and desist letter, or just ignore it.
Recorded message; I get a couple a week; from 877-273-3495. Never a person the few times I’ve answered. We should all continue bombarding emails to Horsham, PA office (John A., V.P.) and copy the attorney generals office. If they want to play – GAME ON B___!! Lets find their home numbers and return the favor.
I’m back w/ more news. Starting sending John A. and the compliance div.
emails on a daily basis; threatening harrassment suits and each call means another complaint which means more penalties and/or fines. At day 11,
got an email from DINA at NCO. She stated calls would stop and my # would be removed from list. Its been about a week. No calls. I titled every email “CEASE ORDER #1″…..changed number every day and sent it. Also,
for Verizon users; you can go on-line and block those numbers. Did that as
well. Good Luck.
GREAT NEWS. Got a letter, signed by Dina S. (VP of Compliance); they
have removed my number from their call list. Calls have been stopped for awhile. This seemed to be a great course of action. Good luck.
What email addresses did you email to?
Here is another number from NCO 800-709-8625
Here are a couple of NCO numbers I have received lately….
8004489570
8664939024
We’ve been receiving calls from NCO for the past couple of days. The calls just came out of the blue. The number they call from is 1-800-379-5209 – always the same number. And the call back number is the same as well. We have yet to call back the number, because we don’t have any outstanding debt and we assumed that it was a phishing attempt. The fact that they really are a debt collection agency and can do some real damage to our credit is disturbing to say the least.
Get a call every morning from them. And today I got one in the afternoon, too! Here’s the two numbers from today
800-786-9330 & 866-849-2442
Well the debt I owe is legit, some money I am to pay back to a college I attended a couple years ago. But now I’m wondering if the money I’m paying to NCO is a scam and a few years from now I’ll find out I still owe the school all this money!! They first started calling me a couple years ago and one month I told them “I don’t have the money, call me back Friday.” and they never did. So the next month they tried to say that since I “missed” that month’s payment, I had to pay them the ENTIRE balance then! My mom got on the phone and convinced them to take a $100 payment, then I didn’t hear from them for like a year and a half. So now I’m paying them online. But yesterday I received a call of a recording asking me to call back and ask for Roseanne Lynn. When I did, the gentleman said she wasn’t available so I cursed him out for the company calling me and blah blah. So he looked up my info and said they were just contacting me to let me know they received my payment like 2 or 3 WEEKS ago and remind me when it’s due next month. Thought that was weird but no problem. So they call me again today. And I call back several times, usually get recordings, but finally it rings and rings for an entire minute or two. Then I get on odd cell provider recording saying the wireless customer I’m trying to reach is unavailable. I’m wondering why a collection agency’s phone number would be a wireless one. I’m SO confused. But I DO actually owe money, so I don’t know if I’m being scammed or not. The number they contact me with is 888-831-6994.
I hope my e-mail is not given out to NCO (as I was required to put my e-mail to post a coment here). I have been getting phone calls from them x 1 month. I do not have anything that is in arears. I did have a few store cards I paid off and then canelled as I was not going to use them any longer.I have not called NCO back because the message left really smelled really fishy. The last phone number they called from was 866-285-0417
They keep calling me with 1-800-707-2637. I actually spoke to a person and she said she would remove my number from their list.
I don’t know where to begin. I get calls from 877-273-3495. Today I called them back and informed them of the statement I got in reference to a creditor In a fax I sent yesterday, I stated that I would pay the creditor directly and for them to stop calling me. Today when I called them, after they called me earlier. I informed the young lady, Sabrina of what I had done, and asked if she had gotten the fax, I gave her the fax number I had on file for NCO Financial Systems 1-866-269-8669, and she informed me that that was the fax to the corporate office so she would not have the fax in her office. I instructed her to contact the corporate office herself and she stated she could NOT do that. At that point I was boiling, RED FLAG ! I reiterated that I wish NOT to be contacted by them and that I would pay the outstanding debt to the creditor directly. Wished her a good day and hung up.
I am so happy that I am reading up on them now.
Received four calls so far today, several throughout the last couple of months. The 4th was answered out of frustration. I told there’s no such person living here, I don’t know any such person, and if they don’t stop calling, I’ll report them.
Of course, I haven’t yet figured out whom to report them to, but the information given by Bubba is a starting point.

The leave a message stating you must return a call because it is concerning a very important matter with NCO Financial.
They have been calling me off and on, but when I go to return the call it says: The mailbox is full. I’m unable to leave a message and no one ever answers! I finally went on the web to get some more info on them. THANK GOD FOR YOUR SITE! I’m a newlywed who recently printed out my credit report for our finances NCO was NO WHERE on the list nor am I being sent to collections for anything else! They called from 866-376-1967

About a year ago I got a new cell phone thru sprint and the day that it arrived I turned it on and within 5min I got a call from nco (always recorded). How did they get my number that quick when I didnt even know it? And now they call up to 5 times a day. Always with a different#, never the same. And I am positive I dont owe them anything. So my lawyers are taking care of it for me. Let them deal with it. Maybe they can get somewhere with these so called people.
they call me from these numbers 866-849-2442, 866-849-2438, 866-463-3018

The number was 866-821-5890. They called me at 8:36 pm. He knew my ss and middle initial etc. Said my last known address was a town I have never
even lived close to. He said I owe the state over 5k in back taxes. I do have some problems so it scared me and I agreed to call back the next morn.
when I did he said the tax debt was for a totally different state and I never lived there. He didn’t want me to discredit him, but I think he did that on his
own.

For months now we have been getting random calls from NCO. They leave an automated vm stating it’s for debt collection but do not specify what debt. We have had out house refinanced and taken out a home equity loan and nothing comes up on our credit report. I don’t know what to do? I want the calls to stop but I am not calling them back. It seems that only adds fuel to the fire. They used to his number when calling me: 1-800-511-8670.
Here are some of the the numbers for upper level management @ NCO Financial-
Be sure and call them to let them know what you think of their debt collection policies and practices!

NCO left a series of robo-calls. When I called them, their agent said they were looking for a Mario King, which sounds like my wife’s name but which is most definitely not her name. Their agent then informed me that Mr. King is deceased, but that they are trying to reach his next of kin! Bogus! BTW, the number they left is 800-974-9728.
Just received a call from them. They wanted tos peak to my son who’s 16 years old about collecting something relating to federal express. I refused to put him on. He does no business with federal express and our credit rating is spotless. They refused to tell me what that was about. They were pretty nasty on the phone. Clearly a phony phone call. I did a quick search on the web and I found this site and a ton of other complaints. I will file a complaint ith the state of PA.
A little different problem: I got a call about my daughter. I knew she owed money and could not make payments so, thinking to help her, I sent in about $2,ooo. THEN I realized that I was getting calls for my daughter’s name weekly or oftener. I started asking for SS No., birth date or some other extra data. I know I was dumb or naive not to do this first. Ends up the money I paid NCO was not for my daughter. They did talk to me, were very sympathetic, then kept me jumping through hoops for a year or better before not taking my calls any more. My lawyer suggested the BBB but was less than optimistic about any recovery.
Just another way to get cheated by these people….
This company called my poor grandma today. she has just had a stroke and really doesnt need this crap from this company. The number they called off of is 1-800-260-5570. I dont have any outstanding debt so I dont really know why they would b callin my grandma of all people.

Showing this balance has been deleted, not mistake. Deleted e k slaughter 2074 Bahama rd Lexington ky 40509
Another number for them is 800-883-0613. I have asked them repeatedly to not call my parents house and they continue to do so and are nasty. They call my house on the average of 5 to 6 times daily.
John –
Do they leave a message stating they are NCL Financial Systems? Because that is the phone # that has called us today and as well as a few other different #s I’ve recognized. I let it go to the machine because we don’t owe anyone that uses them. It is always a woman’s voice stating to call a different # and speak to a Max (can’t recall last name).
Curious
They just call from 800-759-2224, and gave me that same number to call them back. Feb, 12, 2010.
Identified themselves as a Dept Collection Agency and refused to tell me anything whatsoever, unless I gave them my DOB or last 4 digits of my SSN.
Said I would have to respond to a letter sent to me under independent cover by NCO
WEASLES!
This number comes across my fax machine (800-231-1240). They call several times for a week or 2. Then there is nothing for a few months and then again. They leave a message on my home phone when they call it, but the person they want hasn’t lived here for almost 3 yrs now. So I know there phone calls are bs.
Not sure if this number’s been posted yet, but I get them from 866-278-1213. They call once, sometimes twice a day; usually in the mid-morning and again between 7 and 8 in the evening. I let my machine pick up during the day and my husband usually just answers and then hangs up immediately. I’ve been getting these calls for a few months now.
I found out about them when i tried to purchase a new car and they showed up on credit report as -$30 collection. Impossible to get a hold of them
Latest phone number as of Feb 2010 (866)376-1968.
BY THE WAY! Does anyone have their email address?
